World Breastfeeding Week Around the World: Czech Republic                         WBW in other countries

ANIMA - Prague IBFAN Group

ANIMA  organized a press conference on the occasion of the World Breastfeeding on July 31. Lida Lhotska - Regional IBFAN Coordinator for Europe and other colleagues from the National Breastfeeding Committee took part at the conference which counted about 30 participants. The meeting was valuable for connecting BF advocates with members of others NGOs interested in parenting.

On the occassion of the WBW the WABA leaflet was translated and issued in Czech language and other printed materials on the Code issues were distributed among journalists and interested parties. To view the translated WBW 2006 Calendar, please click here.

WABA: Protects, Promotes and Supports Breastfeeding Worldwide The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is a global network of individuals and organisations concerned with the protection, promotion and support  of breastfeeding worldwide.
