  • Promotional attendance at Bathurst Library “Storyline”
    Thursday 7th August 10am– 12pm

  • Promotional Display at Stock lands Shopping Centre
    Friday 8th August 1-3pm

Dubbo:

  • Promotional Display at Dubbo Centro
    Wednesday 6th August 10am

  • Celebration Morning Tea for staff
    Dubbo Community Health Centre

Orange:

  • Breastfeeding Support Services Opening
    Orange Community Health Centre

GWAHS Wide Activities

  • E-mail countdown to all GWAHS employees commencing 1 month prior - Weekly for 3 weeks then daily during WBW.

  • WBW logo on GWAHS internet & intranet sites with details of local activities.

  • Newspaper media release publication and BF promotional articles with information regarding local WBW activities to all local newspapers with the GWAHS region.

  • Local radio and television interviews with local breastfeeding “champions” throughout the region.

WABA: Protects, Promotes and Supports Breastfeeding Worldwide The World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) is a global network of individuals and organisations concerned with the protection, promotion and support  of breastfeeding worldwide.
